Activate your Curve Card

When your Curve card arrives, it’s time to activate it in the app. 
Simply go to the “Account” tab and tap “Activate your card”. You’ll be asked to enter the last 4
digits of your Curve card, and it’s ready to go.

Paying with your Curve card How it Works | Curve

You’ve activated Curve, added your cards, and now you’re ready to pay. To choose which card you
want to pay with, just swipe through your digital wallet in the app and tap the card you need. Then,
you can use your Curve card like you would any other card in your wallet.

Paying with Curve on your phone

You can go totally card-free by hooking up your Curve card to Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung
Pay. Any card you add to Curve will work with them, even if your bank doesn’t – that’s the kind of
life hacks we like.

Say hi to your Curve Cash card

This is a virtual card in the Curve app. Your balance is made up of money earned through
cashback, promos, or referrals, and any money sent to you from other people on Curve. On the
rare occasions we aren't able to process a refund to your bank account, it'll land in here where you
can spend it right away.

Setting up cashback
You’ll earn 1% cashback from your choice of retailers. 
To set up, tap your Curve Cash card and a pop-up will appear, prompting you to “Set up Curve
Cash”. Tap the icon on the bottom-right and choose “Curve Cash” and you’ll get a list of retailers to
choose from. Choose wisely – there’s no going back on this one!

See what you’ve spent

See what you’re spending on all your accounts at once with Curve insights, alerts and
notifications. Your Curve timeline will show you what you’ve spent, when you’ve spent, and where
you’ve spent it. You’ll get (optional) notifications every time you spend, and you can go to “insights”
on the app for a categorised breakdown of your spend across all your cards on Curve.

Send money to friends

Send money to anyone else on Curve with nothing more than their phone number. Head to ‘Send’
for a list of your friends on Curve and send them money from any of your cards in your Curve
Wallet. The money sent will instantly land in their Curve Cash card, where they can spend it right
away.
