RESOLUTION NO. 104-2020

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. MILBERT L. OLIVEROS, LOCAL CHIEF
EXECUTIVE, CAVINTI, LAGUNA, TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH ROJA PHARMACY AS SOLE PROVIDER OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAVINTI TO DELIVER VARIOUS MEDICINES FOR
STOCKPILING AND DISTRIBUTE TO EVACUEES IN DIFFERENT
EVACUATION AREAS DURING TIME OF CALAMITIES.

WHEREAS, during calamities, relief goods must be prepared and readily

available anytime for affected families, should the need arise;

WHEREAS, Relief Goods shall contain essential grocery items like

canned goods, rice and other grocery items which may be deemed necessary
to sustain life when affected by typhoon and other possible calamities;

WHEREAS, ROJA PHARMACY, a private grocery in Barangay

Poblacion, Cavinti, Laguna represented by its owner MR. ROMMEL VILLEGAS
selling various medicines in wholesale prices;

WHEREAS, ROJA PHARMACY can supply the necessary items

mentioned above, should calamity strikes;

WHEREAS, procurement of goods by LGU- Cavinti from ROJA

PHARMACY shall be in accordance with the provisions set forth in the
Implementing Rules and Regulations under the Government Procurement
Reform Act;

 WHEREAS, in view of the foregoing, interest and welfare of the people of
this municipality, upon motion of SB Member Crispin D. Sanchez duly
seconded by SB Members Manuel A. Dela Roca, Elma P. Flores, Pedro O.
Villegas Jr., Marlon F. Villanueva, Jimmy Jose V. Oliveros and Rosemarie F.
Esperanza and by unanimous consent of all the members present, there being
a quorum, it was
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to AUTHORIZE HON. MILBERT L.
OLIVEROS, LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE, CAVINTI, LAGUNA, TO ENTER
INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH ROJA PHARMACY
AS SOLE PROVIDER OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAVINTI TO DELIVER
VARIOUS MEDICINES FOR STOCKPILING AND DISTRIBUTE TO
EVACUEES IN DIFFERENT EVACUATION AREAS DURING TIME OF
CALAMITIES.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all

agencies and departments concerned for their immediate information, action
and implementation:
