IMAT STUDY
IMAT STUDY PLANNER
PLANNER
WRITTEN BY ARI HORESH
INTRODUCTION
Hello! My name is Ari Horesh! I am a medical
student at the university in Pavia. I am also the
owner of EnterMedSchool.com, Future &
Current medical student community from all
around the world.
In this study planner, we are going to lay the
foundations for the next three months of your
studies. I will carefully explain to you what to do
every day, which pages to study, which pages to
skip, which topics are essential, and which are
not. I will show you how actually to study, and
some of those tips will accompany you through
med school!

This PDF is FREE. I am working VERY HARD to

write free study materials, so, if you feel
generous, you can donate using the following
link!
https://www.gofundme.com/f/EnterMedSchool
I do understand that most of you are not native
English speakers, so do I. The course will be
written in plain simple English because it is
more important to understand the concept,
other than practicing your English intensely.
Furthermore, you will find yourself reading
hundreds (or even thousands)  of paragraphs,
so believe me when I say, your English will get
better and better by the day.

While this book is free, and you can share

it with anyone, it‫׳‬s content, especially all of
the trading marks, are copyright
protected by entermedschool.com. This
book might contain mistakes; make sure
to verify the content, use it at your own
risk!

FLASH CARDS
They are your best friends from now on.
Flashcards apps, such as Anki (which I most
recommend) are using a simple, but effective
way of study called “Active Recall”  recalling
things from your memory is the best and most
effective way for remembering things, according
to major studies! You can download Anki
from AnkiWeb.com
So, don‫׳‬t keep reading this guide until you go on
YouTube to watch some tutorials about Anki
and active recall! (Just look it up, it will CHANGE
the way you study)
BOOKS
We will use the following books the next three
months. You can either purchase them, or
download their PDFs online.

WHAT ARE WE

GOING TO DO?
I am going to give you a daily schedule.
Everyday, I will give you videos, pages from the
books and a check list. You should ideally finish
the actual studying within 60-70 days, If you are
100% free to study, If not, sometimes it can take
up to 6 months, so don‫׳‬t feel stressed about it!

Please use Pearson‫׳‬s as the your main

method of studying. The best way to use
Pearson‫׳‬s is to take the mentioned pages,
and spread them over 50-60 days. While I
like the Cambridge books, they are only good as
a first reading in my opinion, and only used to
give you an understanding of what you are
going to learn from Pearson‫׳‬s.

I will mention the name of the chapters and

pages of both books, for biology, and chemistry.
You can choose to study using either one of the
books (or both, if you have the time).
please, make sure to double check the relevant pages

compare them to the IMAT syllabus!
