Description:

GE Clinical Systems is a part of GE Health Care which is an US based Medical Equipments


manufacturing company. The key business requirement of this Project is to Upgrade PRODERP
application (from the Version 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2), architecture, infrastructure, and documentation to
GE Healthcare quality standards and vendor supportable levels enabling supportability, business
optimization, future deployments, and regulatory compliance. Several Oracle application modules like
PO, AP, AR, INV, GL etc are involved in this task. In this up-gradation, migration and development
project, all the custom components like Interfaces, forms, reports and host files are being upgraded
and migrated from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10. All the Interfaces which require transfer of files from Oracle to
the 3rd party server and from 3rd party server to Oracle are now using a GLOBAL FTP PROGRAM which
helps in file transfer. Also most of the Optio Reports and CFD (Customer facing Documents) are now
being changed to XML Publisher reports
Responsibilities:

 Identified the changes in custom Reports based on the changes from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2.
 Identified the changes in the code (Interfaces, Reports) from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2.
 Designed the technical design documents (MD70) for Interfaces and Reports.
 Worked on several Interfaces (Inbound/Outbound) which involve in FTP of files from one server
to the other.
 Raising Request in CM & QA Tracker for components migration into PRODUCTION instance.
 Involved in registration of concurrent programs, executables, responsibilities and value sets for
most of the Interfaces.
 Worked on creation of Value sets for the modified reports.
 Modified few Reports based on the requirement.
 Unit testing the developed components.
