Computer virus is a man made program . It affects and disturbs the normal functioning of the computer .

Computer virus can be transferred from one computer to another computer . It may destroy and delete
data , information or program . It replicates itself and produces many copies to occupy the whole disk
space . It is activated when the infected program is opened.

There are different types of computer viruses . Some of the types of computer viruses are ; Boot
sector virus, stealth virus , macro virus , worms virus etc .

A computer program which detects and eliminate the computer virus from the
computer system is known as anti virus . There are different anti virus available in the market . some
example of anti virus are Avast, Avira , NOD32 ,etc
