Welcome to DeJayla's Healthy Hair Salon. Our biggest desire at

DeJaylas is the health of your hair. At the core of every style our focus is
to ensure your tresses are strong. 

Like yourself we love a pretty style but not if it compromises the goal of
building a great healthy hair foundation. Prior to scheduling we want you
to know who we are and who you’re getting in a Healthy Hair Specialist.   

My name is DeWanna pronounced De-Wan-nah. I have been in the

industry for over twenty years. For years I have invested time and money
learning the two things I am passionate about hair and business. I am the
mother of two beautiful daughters, why does this matter? Because when
you sit in my chair your tresses are treated just as I would my own
daughters. If it's not good enough for my daughters and granddaughter, it
want be good enough for you. Your hair has a unique DNA and I take the
time to learn what your hair is saying so that we can unlock the code to
your unique hair type. This will help you and I build a foundation for
healthy hair that you can rely on. 

This year has affected me deeply that I have had to make some changes
in how I do business. As of Jan 4, 2021 I am now part of a unique group
of women, Widows. Though I am not excited about this new normal I am
doing the best that I can with the cards I have been dealt. Due to my new
situation, I have made some changes in my schedule, and the way I do
business. I no longer just accept walk in and new clients that ring my
phone. Though I am so grateful for you choosing DeJaylas I have come
to realize that It must be a win win for us both. I absolutely love healthy
hair for that reason I take customers who need me for the long haul, I
look for clients that desire what it is that I do best.

Due to the new days of operation, DeJaylas is open Thursday thru

Saturday by appointment only. Our hours start at 10 am no appointments
after 5: 15. Due to previously planned appointments we need at least a
week notice for your appointment. 

Though other businesses are no longer wearing mask, we require mask

for ensured safety, at the entering of the salon you are required to wash
your hands prior to your service. 

We also have a NO drop off rules for children they must have a parent
present at the time and during the appointment. 

For your convenience we accept cash, visa or master card, cash app,
and check (only after we have established a good working relationship). 
Cancellations happen and we understand. We ask that you give us
sufficient time to cancel. Someone may be waiting for  a cancellation, so
please be mindful. 

Last note, some wonder why the Christian beautician, not because I am
perfect. I get it wrong sometimes. But I want to give honor back to the one
who entrusted me with it and I realize that the key to healthy hair is
seeking GOD to show me what to do.
