INTRODUCTION
Air powered car is the design to replace
commonly used conventional cars.
Our world is facing fuel crisis, air pollution.
All kind of non-renewable sources of fuel are
on exhaustion.
To overcome this we go for renewable energy
resources.
Air is one of the renewable energy that is used
as a fuel in car instead of non-renewable fuels.
WHY AIR POWERED CAR
VEHICLE PARTS
 Compressed air tank
 Body
 Air filter
 Chassis
 Electrical system
COMPRESSED AIR TANK

 It is used to store
compressed air.
 It is a carbon-fibre tank
and it has a capacity to
store 24 gallons of air.
BODY
 It is made up of fibre glass and injected
foam.
 It is light weighted.
AIR FILTER

 Air filter is used to remove unwanted particles from

ambient air.
CHASSIS
 It is a vehicle frame to which all other
components are attached.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
 Every automobile need electrical parts like head
lights, dashboard light,…..
WORKING

Engine
TECHNICAL BENEFITS
 No need of cooling.
 No need of spark plugs / complex fuel injection
systems.
 Knocking free.
 The temperature of the engine while working will be
slightly less than the ambient temperature.
ADVANTAGES
 Economical
 Pollution free
 Better comfort
 Less maintenance
DISADVANTAGES
 Less speed
 Not suitable for heavy duty vehicles.
 Less number of air pumping stations.
CONCLUSION
By using air powered cars , it eliminates
the use of non-renewable fuels.
Thereby preventing air pollution and step to a
healthier environment.
