Last 2016, The President of the Athletic Association Meet reported that the population mean age of
Culminating Performance Standard
The learner is able to perform appropriate tests of hypotheses involving
the population mean and population mean and population proportion to
make inferences in real-life problems in different disciplines.
Enabling Performance Standards
PS1: The learner is able to apply an appropriate random variable for a
given real-life problem.
PS2: The learner is able to accurately formulate and solve real-life
problems in different disciplines involving normal distribution.
PS3: The learner is able to apply suitable sampling and sampling
distribution of the sample mean to solve real-life problems in different
disciplines,
PS4: The learner is able to estimate the population mean and
population proportion to make sound inferences in real-life problems in
elementary athletes who joined Athletic Meet is 10 years old. A year after, the INSET University
hosted the City Meet Association Meet. The students will now become a surveyer. Their task will be to
conduct survey on the average age of athletes. They will decide what sampling method is the most
effective to be used and determine the sample size will be considered in gathering the data. After data
gathering, using an appropriate test statistic, determine if there is a significant difference between the
average mean claimed by the President and the computed mean obtained from the calculated mean of
the gathered data. The result will be presented to the Sports Coordinators, Trainors, and Teachers.
The output will be graded using these criteria:
Accuracy: 50 %

Performance Check
The goal of this performance is to summarize the lessons being discussed through a
song. It is statistically proven that integrating music to any subject can enhance retention and
improve your short term memory.
Guidelines to be confirm
1. The lyrics of the song should be originally composed from any of the group members.
2. The lyrics of the song should cover the topics from chapter 1 to 4.
3. The accompaniment of the instruments and use of minus-one is allowed.
4. The performance must be good for 3 minutes.
5. Use of props and costumes and prohibited.
6. All performers should wear proper uniform during the performance.
7. All performers must memorize, the lyrics of the song. If not, it can be deducted from
your grade.
