CROSS COMPATIBILITY

1. Connector definition
IPCM : Genesys Voice Portal IP Call Manager : OmniPCX Enterprise “SIP External Gateway” -> “SIP
Remote Domain” contains the IPCM IP Address , IPCM distributes calls to IPCS .
SIP-S : Genesys SIP Server : OmniPCX Enterprise “SIP External Gateway” -> “SIP Remote Domain”
contains the SIP-S IP Address , SIP-S distributes SIP calls to GVP IPCS or to GVP Resource Manager
(>=GVP 8.1).
Direct : IP Call Server (IPCS) to OmniPCX Enterprise : OmniPCX Enterprise “SIP External Gateway” -> “SIP
Remote Domain” contains the IPCS IP Address .

2. Incoming calls and Outgoing calls .

In this cross compatibility matrix the sign (O) means that this solution is supported .If this sign is missing , the
outgoing call solution is not supported .

TC1054 for Genesys Voice Portal 7.6 and OmniPCX Enterprise solution deployment.
TC1251 for Genesys Voice Portal 8.1.X and OmniPCX Enterprise solution deployment.
TC1439 SIP Server and GVP required for Network OXE architecture .

All described deployments MUST use OmniPCX Enterprise Routing Services (RSI) .This is mandatory .

Limitations and deployment recommendations are included in those documents .

Documents available on the Business Partner Web Site (BPWS).

Deployments which are out of recommendations : On Demand Solution is required.

5. Spatial Redundancy
SIP Server 8.1.000.37 supports FQDN resolution .SIP Server 8.1.000.37 is compliant with OXE spatial
redundancy ,with GVP 8.1.4 and OmniPCX Enterprise R10 (J1) AND R9.1 (>=I1.605.22) .

Genesys Voice Portal 7.X or lower have not been validated with OmniPCX Enterprise Spacial
Redundancy .
