1. Administrative Plan
Facility Manager
Facility Executive
HK Supervisors
MPW's
Depending on the size of the site and on the amount of work included in the various housekeeping operations,
certain positions might be or not be required.
In the absence of a Facility Manager, the Asst. Facility Manager fulfills the duties and responsibilities of the Facility
Manager and vice-versa.
2. Scope
To execute all needed housekeeping and cleaning activities to ensure general cleanliness of AUS premises.
2.1 Purpose
The daily initial image that each member of the facility and their visitors will garner is one of overall cleanliness.
Well-maintained surroundings enhance working conditions and provide our customers with a higher level of
efficiency.
We believe that good results are reaped from proven methods, high caliber cleaning equipment and from a capable
and well-directed staff. The housekeeping supervisors will have a large role to play in this regard. They must be
sensitive to the quality and quantity of work done by their team members and they must demonstrate that
appropriate measures will follow instances of either good or bad quality.
Green apple delivers AUS a full range of cleaning services that deliver satisfaction as well as cost efficiency. Carpet
cleaning, soft and hard floor cleaning, internal and external window cleaning, cleaning of all furniture, kitchen and
bathroom cleaning, pest control, fumigation, waste management, etc.
2.2 Objective
The entire set of housekeeping and cleaning services is designed to promote a professional image of general
cleanliness in each of the facilities we manage.
3. Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Multi-Purpose Workers to ensure that this
procedure is adhered to at all times.
4. Quality control
According to the defined schedules, quality checklists are established. These will enable the Housekeeping
Supervisor, Facility Manager, Assistant Facility Manager, the Client himself or the Operations Manager to check
whether all the pre-defined work has been completed according to the schedule. These checklists have to be
worked out for every site specifically and will be part of the records generated for these services. (Please refer to
the checklist formats at the end of these documents.)
The principle of these checklists is the following: For each task specified on the Housekeeping schedule, a signature
from the Multi-purpose worker will certify that the task has been completed. For example, if the Housekeeping
Supervisor or the Facility Manager wants to know whether the bathrooms have been cleaned at a certain point of
time, he will just check on the correspondent checklist and see whether the task has been signed.
5. Technology tools
At the moment, there is no technology tool available to support the housekeeping services.
