IV. PROCEDURES
A. INTRODUCTION Goal Orientation
 The learners will do the walkthrough of the lesson
expectations.
 In this part, the content of the lesson will be presented.
 Learning objectives will also be introduced to guide the
learners on the learning targets founded on KSAV principles.

Learning Task No. 1


(1 day)
 The learners will give examples of appliances that can be
found in their homes based on the given safety devices.
They will explain the functions of these safety devices in their
appliances.
 They will refer on page 37 of PIVOT 4A Learner’s Material and
use the answer sheet.

Learning Task No. 2


 The learners will enumerate some of the appliances found in
B. DEVELOPMENT their homes that have safety devices.
(1 day)  They will explain how each safety device functions. Using the
given chart found on page 37 they will complete it on their
answer sheets.

Learning Task No. 3

C. ENGAGEMENT
 The learners will write their reflections about the safety devices
(1 day)
installed in their homes.
 They will use a separate paper/notebook for their answers.

D. ASSIMILATION
(1 day)  The learners will draw a simple safety device and explain how
