CardioSoft is a new PC-based Cardiology System that offers Resting ECG, Exercise/Stress
Testing, Holter Monitoring, Hand-Held Spirometry, and Ambulatory Non-Invasive Blood Pressure.
The CardioSoft System was originally released in EMEA. Early this year, the CardioSoft System
was released in the United States, and the CardioSoft offered in EMEA and Asia was upgraded to
version V. CardioSoft opens the doors to a new marketplace for us – the physician’s offices and
clinics as well as our traditional hospital market.

Along with the release of the system comes a new line of supply items. For Spirometry, the system
is called SpiroSoft. The handheld spirometer uses pneumotachs with disposable mouthpieces,
nose clips, pads for the nose clips, and a cable from the spirometer to the PC.

For Ambulatory Non-Invasive Blood Pressure, the system is Tonoport V. Supplies supporting this
product include three sizes of blood pressure cuffs, a carrying bag with belt, battery charger, NIMH
AA batteries, and cables to the PC.

The CardioSoft Resting ECG and Stress PC-based Systems utilize the CAM 14 cables and
leadwires and CAM 14 leadwire connectors used with other GE Resting ECG and Stress Systems,
as well as SilverTRACE disposable ECG electrodes and Silver Mactrode Plus disposable tab
electrodes. The new item for this product is the USB cable to the PC. This item is a service part
and can be purchased through the Service Parts organization.

Finally, for Holter monitoring, CardioSoft is using the SEER Light Holter recording system, which is
a recorder about the size of a credit card. We expect increased sales for SEER Light supplies with
the additional offering through the CardioSoft System portfolio.
