Argenys Alexander Azcona Castillo

Percy is a boy who changes schools every year after being expelled from the
previous one. He seems to have a magnet for trouble and they always happen for
reasons he doesn't understand. As if his life weren't complicated, he has to do his
best to get good grades with dyslexia. In his house things do not improve, while his
mother is a charm that she always seeks the best for her son, his stepfather is
completely unbearable. But everything that happens in the life of Percy Jackson has
a reason, and that is that he is not an ordinary child, he is a Half-Blood (half human
and half God) and will have to save humanity avoiding a war between the gods that
seems imminent.

The characters are totally unique. Percy is a charming boy for whom everything is
new, his innocence, bravery and good heart define him as the hero he is destined to
be. Grover is the most sympathetic character that I have read for a long time, he is a
satyr with dreams to fight for and with a sense of friendship that will keep him from
parting with Percy no matter how scared he is of the situation. Then we meet the
intelligent, brave, calculating and determined Annabeth, who finishes forming the
peculiar trio of this story, making us go from untold nerves to irrepressible laughter.

To finish, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is the beginning of a saga that
transports us to a magical and unique place where everything is possible. From the
hand of Rick Riordan you will laugh, get excited, enjoy and adore these characters in
a way that will surprise you.
