    Deceptive advertising practices in Pakistan are leading to false expectations among customers. A survey was conducted of 115 customers across various industries to understand their perceptions of different deceptive advertising claims and practices. The results showed average agreement that deceptive advertising practices around product characteristics, incentives, and pricing were common. However, customers disagreed most with the idea that businesses intentionally mislead about the length and cost of contracts. Overall, the findings indicate that deceptive advertising is an issue that impacts customer trust in Pakistan.
