Classification of Therapy
I. Play Therapy (c/o Jenifer Maiso & Lei Puruganan)
(Relay w/ 3 stations of diff activity)

Station 1 – PUZZLE
Materials: Jigsaw puzzle
Objective:
➢ To be able to exercise brain which
includes the creativity, emotions,
intuitive thinking, logical and methodical
side.
➢ To differentiate the pieces of the puzzle
and distinguish the larger image.
➢ To help them train to be attentive to
details especially if the pieces are very
similar.
➢ To improve problem solving ability
➢ To increased productivity

Mechanics:
➢ Each member in line would require to
finish the puzzle to move to the next
game.

Station 2 – PYRAMID STACKING UP

Material: 3 Plastic Cups

Objective:
➢ To be able to increase intelligence
➢ To be able to learn problem solving
➢ To be able to develop critical thinking

Mechanics:
➢ The game involves stacking 3 small cups on top
of each other to create a triangular or pyramid
and taking them back down as quickly as
possible. For the next player or Team member.

Station 3 – Pass the Ball


Objective:
➢ To learn to work as a team
➢ To develop cooperation.
➢ To learn properly stretch to exercise

Equipment: Ball
Mechanics:
The goal is to be the first team to cross the finish line.

Instructions:
➢ Team members line up in a line facing the finish line. Put a little space between them each other, so they
can pass a ball behind each other down the line.
➢ The first person on each team raises the ball above their head.
➢ Leader says, “Go”
➢ When the ball gets to the last person in the line, that person runs all the way back up to the front, which
will move the line forward. The pattern of over passing continues until all of them reaches the finish line
then move to Pyramid Cup

III. Cooking Therapy (c/o Jhon Dale Banzon & Camilla
Flores)
Menu: Pansit Guisado

Objectives: Procedure:
✓ To enhance their patience 1. Soak pancit bihon in water for 8 to 10 minutes.
✓ To explore their creativity 2. Drain water and set noodles aside.
✓ To help them connect with other 3. Heat oil in a pot.
Ingredients: 4. Pan-fry shrimp for 1 minute per side.
• 1/2 lb pancit bihon 5. Remove and set aside.
• 1 piece Knorr Shrimp Cube 6. Saute onion and garlic using remaining cooking oil.
• 1/2 lb. chicken thigh boiled and shredded 7. Add Chinese sausage.
• 8 pieces shrimp shell and head removed 8. Cook for 1 minute.
• 1/2 piece small cabbage chopped 9. Add shredded chicken and celery.
• 3/4 cup carrot julienne 10. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
• 3 pieces stalks celery chopped 11. Add Knorr Shrimp Cube.
• 3/4 cup sliced long green beans 12. Crush the cube and continue to saute for 30 seconds.
13. Pour-in soy sauce.
• 1 piece onion sliced into thin pieces
14. Add parsley, carrot, green beans, and cabbage.
• 5 tablespoons dark soy sauce
15. Stir. Cover and cook for 3 minutes using medium heat.
• 2 pieces Chinese sausage chopped
16. Add pancit. Toss ingredients using a kitchen tong.
• 5 cloves garlic crushed
17. Season with ground black pepper and add the shrimp back.
• 1/2 cup chopped parsley 18. Toss until well blended.
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 19. Cover the pot and continue to cook for 2 to 5 minutes
• 4 tablespoons cooking oil between low to medium heat.
• 4 cups water 20. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve. Share and enjoy!

Recyclable Bottle flower vase using yarn

Objectives:
✓ To enhance fine motor and coordination skills
✓ To enhance self-expression and self-esteem
✓ To promote a sense of personal
accomplishment.
✓ To promote feeling of peacefulness and
calmness through colors.

Green, blue, grey and violet promote calm and a feeling


of well-being. The color most beneficial in making people
feel calm and relaxed is blue. Blue is also the preferred color for those with a visual impairment.
Green helps to relax the nervous system and lessens feelings of stress.

Materials needed:

➢ yarn with different colors


➢ a pair of scissors
➢ glue
➢ empty bottles

Procedure:
1. Clean a used bottle
2. Start applying glue on the bottle surface starting from
the bottom.
3. Wrap yarn thread around the bottle from the bottom.
4. Wrap continuously till the top with different colors.
