Conceptualize and refined designs for mechanical tool to adapt two modules in one
equipment for encapsulation of semiconductor products. Researched on materials and
mechanical components to meet design criteria. Engineered mechanical parts to solve
engineering challenges. Created 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of projects.
RESULTS: On time design completion of Hybrid encapsulation equipment.

Provided detailed analysis to resolve issues and challenges in the module design by
applying 3D approach, FEA analysis in strength of structures, critical spring load
computatiions and cost reduction. RESULTS: cost effective rigid design of core driving
mechanism.

Development and fabrication of miniature air dryer for Ball Attach Tool moisture
elimination considering power requirements and cost reduction.

Improved design of singulation nest tool to be as basis of new design rule for
fabrication of parts.

Conceptualize and refined designs for mechanical fixture tools for semiconductor
products. Researched on materials and mechanical components to meet design criteria.
Engineered mechanical parts to solve engineering chalenges. Created 2D and 3D
mechanical drawings of projects. RESULTS: On time completion of various projects of
fixture tools ( Pellet Loaders, Bonding Tools, Jig Holders, Deflash Tools).

Innovate and resolve issues and challenges in the tooling and equipments by applying
3D approach in analyzing part by part functions and dimension with concept of cost
cutting. RESULTS: Mass production of Bonding Tools.

Research, develop and fabricate full pneumatic system for forming leads of
semiconductor products. RESULT: On time delivery of Fully fuctional pneumatic
equipment.

Detailed and precise design of reverse engineer tools thru analysis of tolerances and
function of parts. RESULT: Documentation and basis for fabrication.

Conceptualize and refined designs for mechanical tools and electro-mechanical

equipment for Amkor Technology semiconductor products. Researched on materials
and mechanical components to meet design criteria. Engineered mechanical parts and
sheet-metal parts from concepts. Created 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of projects.
Liaisoned with local and overseas vendors to manufacture products. RESULTS: On time
completion of various projects of Mold Tools (PDIP,PLCC, TSSOP,SOIC, TQFP, BGA, SOT,
TQFP, LQFP, etc..) , Pellet Loader, Loadframes, Ball Attach Toolings, AutoDecullers and
Degaters Equipment, Singulation Tools and Test Fixtures.

Rehabilitated old damaged autodeculler electro- mechanical equipment into fully

functional system thru reverse engineering, improving part design, and introduction of
new mechanical components for easy maintenance. RESULTS: more new orders for
repair of old equipments.

Generated design rules for new projects of Mold Tools, Ball Attach Toolings,
Singulation Nest and BGA & MMC Test fixtures using pogos or probe pins. RESULTS:
Manageable design thru organize dimensions and tolerances.

Trained new engineers in design and detailing of works, mechanical computations,

tolerances and design principles.
