I. SHIPMENT INFORMATION
Pre‐Inspection Site: CIAMSA
Port of Loading: Buenaventura
Loading Terminal: CIAMSA
II. SUMMARY OF LOADING OPERATIONS
Container Pre‐ Each empty container was pre‐inspected prior to loading to ensure their cleanliness and overall suitability to receive bagged cargo. After a careful examination, we
Inspection and found all containers to be clean, dry and free of infestation, in structurally sound condition and in all aspects suitable for the loading and transport of bagged sugar.
Preparation
Maloney personnel also supervised the lining of the inside walls with Kraft paper, and floor of each container with corrugated cardboard and Kraft paper by the
stevedores prior to and throughout the loading operation.
Loading Supervision We made sure that the containers were properly stowed and that the stowage pattern employed allowed for the accommodation of the designated number of
bags to be loaded. During the loading operation, we ensured that all the bags loaded were in sound marketable condition and rejected all those which were
broken, dirty, torn, stained or contained lumps or caked sugar.
For their shipments, DML requested the use of absorbags per container (6 in most cases), to which CIAMSA personnel complied. Maloney Commodity Services
does not accept any participation, involvement or responsibility for placing these absorbags in the containers nor any responsility for any future claims or costs that
can generated as a result of their use.
Bag Condition We confirmed that the bag markings coincided with the nominated product prior to commencing loading.
Inspection
We carried out the inspection of randomly selected bags paying close attention to the state of fluidity of the sugar and the state of cleanliness and markings in the
bags. Damaged, caked or stained bags were not allowed to be loaded.
We found this consignment to be in suitable condition for export and only free flowing sugar was accepted. In addition, we continually supervised the loading of
the containers to ensure that the product was not exposed to any possible hazards or contamination.
200 jumbo bags of 1MT (1,000 kg) appeared to be in new and sound marketable condition
0 bags of 50kg appeared to be in new and sound marketable condition
0 bags of 25kg appeared to be in new and sound marketable condition
Temperature As per DML’s instructions, our surveyors checked 20% of the bags loaded (or 4 bags per container) with a stainless steel probe (provided by CIAMSA) in order to
confirm the fluidity of the sugar inside the bag. We found that:
There was no indication of hardened sugar inside the randomly selected bags
There was indication of hardened sugar inside the randomly selected bags. See comments below.
Tallying and Weight We tallied each bag loaded into each container.
Supervision
CIAMSA does not allow the use of their platform scales for check‐weighing purposes despite their obligation to do
so – for this reason we were not able to verify the weight of 1% of the bags loaded.
Temperature The temperature of randomly selected bags was taken continuously during loading operations with the use of a thermometer; the temperature observed
Complied with Destinee Marketing Limited Sugar’s instructions and was observed to be below 35°C.

Sampling For Totes: Sampling was carried out on 10% of the bags (2 big bags per container). A Maloney sticker was placed on the punctures that were attributed to
sampling.
All samples were collected in a clean suitable bag and sealed in a manner to ensure that the contents were protected from the elements at all times. Upon
completion of loading, we prepared a final composite sample representative of the each shipment.
Analysis No analyses were requested. We will maintain a composite sample in reserve for a period of 3 months unless we are otherwise instructed.
Sealing of Containers We placed a numbered security seal on the container door upon completion of loading. We also took note of the seal numbers placed by terminal representatives.
