MUSIC DISCUSSION BOARD
The British Invasion was a musical movement in the united states during the 1960s and
was very popular. The movement's popularity was because the music groups were influenced by
American rock and roll, blues, and rhythm & blues and could also write and perform very simple
yet catchy songs. The music well-represented counterculture and the aspects of British culture
were becoming popular, and hence the people embraced the music. The Beatles are very popular
even today because of their musicality and how their music has grown over the years and
become even more sophisticated (Cohen, 2017). One aspect of their music that makes them
popular is their harmony. The band has a lot of following and impacts more on the youth who
