Pre-lesson remedial

2. Teacher teaches the rules of present continuous tense and draws pupils’ attention to the sound of
‘ing’ and the short forms (I’m, he’s, we’re etc).
3. Pupils repeat them together and individually.
4. Pupils play the Group pantomime game in which every group takes turn to do an action for other
groups to guess. Other groups need to tell their action using present continuous tense.
5. Teacher plays the song that contains lyrics with “present continuous tense”, pupils are required to tell
the teacher the present continuous tense in the song.
Post-lesson
6. Pupils sing the song “Having Fun” and do the actions along.
