WINNER!!  After what has felt like a very long, very cold winter our cottage garden is filled with
brightly coloured daffodils and primrose blooms; all with the promise of bluebells yet to

I n the Petite Properties’ office and

workshop preparations for the Spring
Miniatura show have been quietly going on
behind the scenes, since the dawning of the
new year. In recent months new houses have
been built, new books written, new kits
designed and all for two very special days in
March.
Most visitors to the UK’s biggest dolls house and
miniatures show only really get a tiny ‘front of
stage’ glimpse into the (often fraught) world of a
Miniatura exhibitor. So this time around the
calendar I thought it would be fun to take my
camera along to the Birmingham NEC and try to
capture a sense of what really happens
