3 Pre- planning is essential, involvement with other contractors is essential for adapting and developing
an effective TMP.

4 All contractors, visitors, delivery drivers, operatives, trades need to understand the traffic
management of the site; this can be achieved via the site induction process, risk assessment briefing,

5 Suitable parking arrangements are to be in place from the onset, parking must be suitable for all
vehicles, and this will eliminate the need for parking on site, and prevent damage to contractor’s
