covered with snow throughout the year.

2. There is no soil to grow crops.

Himalayas. Why?

Ans. It is so because -

1. These rivers start from glaciers .


2. The Greater Himalayas are covered with snow throughout
the year and glaciers are found here.

Ans. It is so because -
