    Aanirai Vallal Goshala

    The Aanirai vallal Goshala began in the year 2017 with our first cow Meenakshi, her calf
    Andal and the bull Ragan. What began as a simple expression of our love for cows, now has
    grown into this beautiful Goshala with 2 bulls, 10 cows of which 8 are currently pregnant,
    and 8 calves; 20 cattle in total. Three of the cows were rescued from ending up at the abattoir.
    They all have names and we respect them as part of our family.

    The milk from Goshala is given for free distribution to the children studying in our school
    run by our charity foundation. These mostly malnourished children from nearby villages
    are now nourished by our 'Gomathas'.

    The details of current expenses per month:

    1. Fodder different kinds: Rs 36000


    2. Hay and fresh grass: Rs 15000
    3. Usual Medical expenses< Rs 5000

    These expenses will go up after the 8 pregnant cows deliver their calves, in the near future!

    Normally we were using the surplus funds from school to run the goshala until this covid-19
    crisis started. With the school temporality closed, we request for your help to run the
    goshala.
    We look forward to join your hands in this noble endeavor and to continue, during these
    difficult times. We welcome donations either in cash / cheque/ DD or materials.

    “Godhanam”also we accepted (BUT) country cows only.
