Name of Project/Activity: IMPROVEMENT, REHABILITATION AND MAINTENANCE

OF MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDINGS (COVERED COURT)
Rationale: Multi-purpose buildings are designed and constructed to

cater for the need of venue during community programs
protected from the heat of the sun or heavy rains. Also, there
were substantial number of cases where during extreme
weather conditions, covered courts are utilized as
evacuation centers.

Justification: 1. The availability of Multi-Purpose Building/Covered Court

is advantageous with considerations to suitable venue for
locally initiated programs and events.

Rationale: As part of time management and efficient day-to-day

operation, it is necessary for organizations to conduct
preventive maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
The end users of the motor pool, who could be a staff,
department employees, field workers, etc. will be given an
easier way of accessing vehicles thru inventory and updated
assessment of what does and doesn’t work in the
vehicle/equipment available. In addition, it can decrease
maintenance expenses while also getting people to carpool
when possible.

Rationale: Due to an increasing health risky behavior among Filipino

adolescents, the Department of Health embarked on revising
the policy and to focus on the emerging issues of the
adolescents which are 10-19 years old. Adolescents Center
focuses on uplifting the welfare of adolescents and ensure
that all adolescents have access to comprehensive health
care and services in an adolescent-friendly environment.

Rationale: The Barangay Health Center is a community-based and

patient-directed organization. Its goal is to provide first aid,
maternal and child health care, diagnosis of social diseases,
and other basic health services to all the members of the
community it is serving. Ideally, there should be one
Barangay Health Center per barangay or district. BHS is
usually the first point of contact between residents of the
community and other health care facility levels.

partners and mangers of their own health under the
decentralized system.
