Wind Energy

Did you know that you use wind energy in everyday life? Wind energy is a type of
solar energy which is used for generating electricity. Wind energy is also a renewable energy
source. Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable sources such as
sunlight,rain,tides,and geothermal heat. Non renewable energy is a natural resource that cannot
be rapidly replaced.

Wind energy is also used during generating electricity, pumping water,during food
production,grinding grain. There are also many more things you can do with wind energy. Fun
fact back in the day wind energy was used to propel boats in the Nile river.

Wind energy has a lot of

advantages and benefits. It has more advantages than disadvantages. Some advantages of
wind energy are that its sustainable, cost effective,it creates jobs,enables U.S industry
growth,clean fuel source,its a domestic source of energy, and wind turbines can be built on
existing farms or ranches. It's an unlimited free renewable source. And it's good for the
environment. For example Wind turbines are planted far away from cities which means it takes
up less space and they give us electricity in other words power like a tv remote or lights.
 But just like other energy sources it also has its
disadvantages.The disadvantages of wind energy are that the wind fluctuates,Wind turbines are
very expensive, wind turbines can pose a threat to wildlife,wind turbines are noisy, and they
create visual pollution. Those are the disadvantages of wind energy. Which can harm the
environment.For example new technology is needed to lower costs, increase reliability and
energy production, solve regional deployment issues, expand the resource area, develop
infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, and mitigate known environmental impacts.
Therefore, one may argue that implementation of wind energy must be delayed until
technological advancements are made.

Those have been the advantages and disadvantages of wind energy. Humans can make a
better impact on the environment. Humans can make a better impact on the environment by
taking care and taking advantage of the environment and be careful with it because a lot of
things can go wrong. You have to be aware of wind energy because it does not contaminate, it
is inexhaustible and reduces the use of fossil fuels. And it can also cause global warming so you
must be very careful and aware of wind energy.
