Prerequisites: That you have an active, working account with Authorize.Net which was
set up by Dydacomp.

This can be found by clicking on the Main Menu, Maintain > System
Information > Global Parameters, the selecting the ICCAS tab.

Real Time Authorization - Get the Approval Code when the order is placed and
allow the settlement to happen for those transactions automatically that night.

2 Pass (Authorize prior to processing and Capture after shipment)

Pre-Authorization / Real Time Authorization - AVS and CID response come in real
time while placing the order. If either the CID or the Address doesn't match, then
you have the option to void that transaction and resubmit only after changing the
address. You capture the credit card after invoice is printed and shipment is
confirmed.

you change your existing transaction key in MOM.

5
III. Test Mode

When test mode is activated, it allows you to place an order and submit a test
transaction that will not be charged to a valid Credit Card Number nor will it be
submitted for settlement. The approval code for these test transactions that MOM
will receive will be '000000'.

delete it by doing the following:

1. In MOM, open the order and click on the Display Journal Entries button
in the top left of the screen.

7
2. Make a note of the transaction ID for the payment. This will be needed to
delete the transaction.

MOM to get an approval.

Note: Now, if you use this credit card type on an order, it will apply a credit
card payment without going through Authorize.net.

11
V. Voice Approvals

1. Voice approvals are used if you receive a "Card Declined" message for the
transaction.

2. If you receive an error and/or it shows the ‘Inquiry Now’ button, you do not
need to obtain a voice approval. You should search for the transaction in
Authorize.Net:
a. If the transaction does not appear in Authorize, then resubmit the
transaction.
b. If the transaction does appear in Authorize.net, then review the
details of the transaction. In MOM, choose the Complete Transaction
option and enter in the approval number and the transaction ID

Note: If you need to process a Voice Approval, do NOT use the above option for
manual payments.

12
VI. Reporting

Credit Card Merchant Deposit Report

In MOM, the Credit Card Merchant Deposit Report can generate a report for any
Date Range and any combination of Transaction Types.

1. In the Main MOM Menu, click on Reports > Accounts Receivable > Credit
Card Merchant Deposit Report.

2. In the Credit Card Merchant Deposit Report Selection Criteria screen, use the
SELECT CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS FOR radio buttons at the top of the
screen to run the report for a specific date, date range, month, order number range,
batch number, batch number range or for all orders. Click on your selection and
specify the date or order number range in the box to the right of the radio buttons.

Note: When using the selection by A GIVEN DATE or GIVEN DATE RANGE,
the Selection Details pull-down list box enables you to select automatic date
options such as Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, etc. This automatic
date selection is based on the current date of your system.

3. Optionally, use the OTHER CRITERIA check boxes specify the Transactions
categories for the report, such as charged, refunded, declined/invalid, voice
authorized, authorized, captured and voided

4. Optionally, use the OTHER INFORMATION to select to limit the report to a

specific credit card type(s), merchant login ID, and/or operator(s) ID.

5. Optionally, use the SORT BY pull-down menu to select additional sorts such as
order number, batch number. credit card number, credit card type, process date,
AVS code, merchant login ID, transaction type, or operator ID.

6. Optionally, use the SUBTOTAL ON pull-down menu to "group" the report by

order number, batch number. credit card type, credit card number, process date,
AVS code, merchant login ID, transaction type, operator ID, or charge amount.

13
Authorize.Net History

In Authorize.net, the History button allows you to generate a report on Unsettled or

Settled Transactions. There is an option to look at one day at a time or a
combination of days.

1. Log into Authorize.net and select the History button.

14
2. Select the type of history report that you would like to generate.

VII. Refunds

Refunds in Authorize.net need to match up to the original transaction. There may

be times when you receive a message that the refund transaction amount exceeds
the original transaction amount. This can appear for a number of reasons, for
instance:

1. The refund amount may exceed the original amount,

2. The refund may be for an order charged the same day, or
3. The refund may be for a transaction that wasn't processed in Authorize.net.

In these cases, you can go to Maintain > System Information > Global
Parameters and choose the ICCAS tab.

15
Uncheck the Validate Refunds to original charge. When this is unchecked, you will
be able to refund for the above examples.

VIII. Address Verification

When approving a credit card, a bank will first check if the customer has funds
available, if the customer does, then the credit card will be approved. After that, the
bank will verify that the address from the order matches the customer’s address on
file. You can select to reject an transaction if a portion of the address doesn't
match. When using this filter, the credit card still gets approved, but when it comes
back through Authorize.net, they will "reject" the card, causing it to show "Decline"
in MOM.

At this point, the only way you can get this transaction to be approved, without
verifying the customer address, would be to uncheck the filter causing the rejection
and resubmit the transaction.

16
1. Log into Authorize.net and select the Settings button.

2. Scroll down and select Address Verification System (AVS).

3. Select the conditions to reject a transaction due to an address mismatch.

17
Note: With using the AVS Reject If… feature, if you attempt to authorize a
customer’s credit card multiple times, the funds will be held on the customers credit
card multiple times. These funds can be held on an average of 7-10 days. You
should not credit the customer back since you did not actually capture and settle the
transaction. If you need to release the funds for the customer, you need to call the
customer's credit card bank and tell them there was a system error with the Address
and that you are not going to be capturing the funds. The phone number can be
found on the back of the customer’s credit card.

IX. Email Receipt

Customer Email Receipt

Initially, when you setup Authorize.net, the default setting is to send the customer
an email receipt. If customer on the order has an email address, when you approve
the credit card, an email receipt will be sent. If you want to disable this feature, you
can:

1. Log into Authorize.net and select the Settings button

2. Scroll down and select Email Recipients.

18
3. You can disable the email receipt by unchecking the Email transaction
receipt to customer (if email address is provided)

Transaction Email Receipt

A transaction email receipt is an email that you can receive as you charge each
credit card transaction. You can enable or disable this setting by doing the
following:

1. Log into Authorize.net and select the Settings button

19
2. Scroll down and select Manage Contacts.

3. Select the contact person that you want to enable/disable the Transaction
Email Receipt by choosing Edit next to their name.

20
4. You can check/ uncheck Transaction Receipt option and then select the
Submit button.

X. CID Number

Formally called CVV2 (Visa) and CVC2 (MC), the CID Number can be entered in
MOM below the credit card number (Authorize.net calls this field Card Code).
This feature works the same way as Address Verification in regards to how you can
reject the credit card in Authorize.net if the CID Number entered doesn't match. If
the CID Number doesn't match, it is likely that the customer doesn't have the card in
hand. You should resubmit the transaction with a new number. It's up to you to
decide if this filter is set on or off and letting the transaction go through anyway. In
MOM, The CID Number entered will change to " *** "until approved, then when a
response is received, it is deleted from the system.

21
1. Log into Authorize.net and select the Settings button

2. Scroll down and select Card Code Verification.

3. Select the Card Code Settings you prefer and select the Submit button.
