HOME VISITATION ACTIVITY REPORT

GUMACA WEST CENTRAL SCHOOL


First Quarter
AAA conducts Home Visitation for Pupil-At-Risk
 
 

Sofia Austria, Brgy. Tabing Dagat was visited for not getting and returning her LAS for three weeks time.

In support Department of Education which desires is to continue to upgrade learning and to bridge
learning gap of learners acquiring quality education ,. Aida R. Pedrigal . conducted Home Visitatjion to
designated barangays to aid the pupils in the acquisition of reading comprehension literacy.
Observing health and safety protocol, the undersigned followed it strictly in conducting the home
visitation. Face mask and Face shield were worn with hand sanitizer or alcohol in the bag.
On December 10-11, 2020, started home visitation activities, in Brgy. Tabing Dagat and Sastre. Grade
six learners of the said barangays specifically those belong to section AAA were visited and gave necessary
agreement regarding the progress of their child /children. Agreement on both parties was signed up using
home visitation form.
After being interviewed for their reasons on the issues, Grade Six learners , it was found out that there
are lots of learners need to be given proper attention and guidance. We cannot give or just rely on parent’s
assistance because we all know that they need to work in order to have something to put on their table.
In this time of pandemic, we need to exert extra effort for the sake of the learners. Extending our help
and giving assistance to pupils especially those at risk is necessary for the attainment of quality basic
education amidst COVID 19 pandemic.
Educators will not stop finding solutions to address problems, issues challenges that the institution is
now facing. All we have to do is to embrace changes and live life long.

Kimberly P. Diestro was visited due to her unclaimed food pack in some ESP 6 learning areas.

In support with the school’s projects namely STAY, KALINGA and LINGAP under Hatid
Dunong Program which aims to encourage learners to enrol on the said school and to bridge learning
gap of learners acquiring quality education, Aida R. Pedrigal . conducted Home Visitation to
designated barangays to aid the pupils in the acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills needed to
their development.
Observing health and safety protocol, the undersigned followed it strictly in conducting the
home visitation. Face mask and Face shield were worn with hand sanitizer or alcohol in the bag.
On March 12, 2021, started home visitation activities, in Brgy. Rosario, and Tabing-Dagat grade
six learners of the said barangays specifically those belong to section AAA were visited and gave
necessary agreement regarding the progress of their child/children. Agreement on both parties was
signed up using home visitation form.
During the conduct of these kind of projects, it was found out that there are lots of learners
need to be given proper attention and guidance. We cannot give or just rely on parent’s assistance
because we all know that they need to work in order to have something to put on their table.
