Use of tools and bakery equipment

Baking – the process of cooking food by dry heat, usually in an oven using gas,
Electricity or under coal.
Batter – a flour mixture that can be poured
Convection oven – is a kind of equipment in baking with a circulated heated air fan
for fast even cooking.
Discard – to reject or expel
Dough – a kind flour mixture that can be manipulated by hand through kneading
process.
Microwave oven – is a kind of an oven that utilizes electromagnetic energy.
Oven –an enclosed space used for baking purposes.

OVENS

Ovens an enclosed space used for baking purposes,


usually by hot air.

Several kinds of ovens are used in baking.

A. DECK OVENS is also called stack oven. Bread s are baked


directly on the floor of the oven and not in pans and equipped
