An important point that I left out was this is a meeting is between (b)(6), (b)(7)(C) and Dave Venturella at the Director

level so that may affect who you all send to participate. The meeting is currently scheduled for 11 am this Friday.

Also, we should probably have a pre-brief with you all prior to this meeting to make sure we are on the same page

and understand each others talking points.

Several other possible topics we are suggesting for the agenda which we have not confirmed with CJIS are: LEA

centric approach vs. jurisdiction approach (i.e. - states who want to leave it up to individual LEA’s to make

decisions), ORI validation, and how can we get Cook County activated.
