Knockouts 1 vs. 1
HOW TO EXECUTE THE EVENT & RULE BOOK
All that you need to know about 8 Ball Pool
1. The tournament format will be direct knockouts in a 1 vs. 1 format,
number of rounds will depend on the participation
2. The tournament will be conducted on Kings of Pool Mobile App so
participant needs to download the app
3. Participant after downloading needs to update his name as it gets changed
to some random guest user it will be easier for identification of the
participant and if it happens to be an individual challenge link sending
then it makes it easier for that as well.
4. The games can be held either by making a club at the kings of mobile
App or sending individual challenge to the players as it is 1 vs 1 format
game.
5. One player must pocket balls of the group numbered 1 through 7 (solid
colors), while the other player has 9 through 15 (stripes).
6. The player pocketing his group first and then legally pocketing the 8 th -
Ball, wins the game, to win, a Player must sink the 8-Ball after having
sunk all their assigned balls.
7. Potting the 8-Ball after break but before sinking all assigned object balls
results in a loss.
8. Registration will be done on the D2C platform and payment will be done
either by the same platform as payments can be done by D2C portal or
after the initial registration mails will be sent with a google form and a
UPI ID mentioned wherein participant needs to submit screenshots of the
payment on the google form.
9. Also same instructions will be given again by forming a whatsapp group
after the initial registration on D2C platform.
10. NOTE: The candidates need to be present on the Zoom call at all times
during the tournament. One player will be asked to share their screen in
breakout rooms during individual matches.

BUDGET
1. Each participant will be asked an amount of Rs 50(can be discussed) for
registration which will help us to keep a cash prize component in the
competition and more participants can get tempted to participate.
2. Expecting minimum 20 participants, Rs 1000 will be collected which we
can divide among top 2 participants.
3. Also prize money can be increased if any sponsor we can get in touch
with (Already in touch with one of them)
4. Cash prize subject to the number of participants.
CONTRIBUTION OF TEAM MATES
1. SHIVAM PANDEY(20131 , DIVISION A ) – Idea regarding this event
and more than half of the rules decided by Shivam in accordance with the
event , furthermore regarding managing this event it will be managed
collectively by both of us.
2. ABHIJEET TIDKE (20135, DIVISION A) – Found this app as the ideal
place to conduct this event as many apps are available online to play this
event but the interface and club related things were checked by Abhijeet
and also he helped with the rules for this event.
