Grandparents Statement

Our whole family has been devastated since the night of July
21st 2018, when a selfish person chose to drink then drive on the
wrong side of the 301 at a high rate of speed. That person has
gouged a huge hole in so many hearts that will never heal! You
have altered the paths of more lives than you can even imagine.
In one horrible moment you ended the life of our beautiful,
sweet and feisty granddaughter of 22 years. You also took her
second son Lawson in that same instant, before he could take is
first breath. You left her 3-year-old son, Hagen without his
mother forever. My youngest daughter was left without her best
friend with no hope of anymore grandchildren. Aunts, Uncles,
Cousins, and friends were filled with grief, pain and hurt. The
loss we all feel is unimaginable. Future birthdays and holidays
have been changed and saddened forever. If you are in prison
for the rest of your life your suffering would only be a speck of
dust compared to the mountain of suffering you have caused us
all.

Grandmother of Bailey Christine McKnight
