1.pH is essential for the activity of the enzymes.

The change in blood pH will lead to the low

speed of chemical reaction happened. Thus the chemical formed can not satisfied the need of
the human body, causing coma or death.

2.As mentioned in the lecture, certain amino acids serve as acid-base catalysis, which relies on
their ability to donate or accept protons in zwitterion state. The change in blood pressure might
alter the state of those amino acids, thus they might lose their catalysis ability, which does great
harm to human body.

3.In human body lives lots of microorganisms. The change in blood pH may effect the growth of
microorganism, thus influencing our health.
