most 3.

2. A die is biased so that the probability of each side of the die


turning up is proportional to the number of dots on it. Find the
probability of obtaining a 5, given that an odd number turns up.

3. A family has three children. What is the probability that the


youngest is a boy if the eldest is known to be a girl?

𝑓(𝑥, 𝑦) = 2𝑒 −(𝑥+𝑦) , 𝑥 > 0, 𝑦 > 0, find 𝑃(0 < 𝑋 < 1|𝑌 = 2).
