COMMUNICATION
To monitor and control the process the user of an inverter needs to interface it with
industrial protocols.
Answer Drives provides serial communications that are compatible with some of the
most important protocols. Profibus™, Modbus™ and DeviceNet™ are available as
standard options; other protocols can be supplied upon request.
The serial RS485 HD is also available, which is independent from the others as regards
setting the parameters, display and loading/downloading the inverter data.
It allows up to 99 inverters (with repeater) to be connected to a single PC.
Each Answer Drives inverter is identified by its own serial number.
