COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Our client is a well-known Canadian company that has specialized in the design and manufacture of recycled
rubber tires flooring for the last 30 years. Our flooring has various uses in the dairy and horse industries and
as anti-fatigue mats and floor protection in commercial and industrial areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an electromechanic, under the authority of the immediate superior, the worker must monitor, maintain
and repair mechanical, electrical and electromechanical parts of production facilities, buildings and transport
equipment: motors , electrical wiring, machine tools, compressors, lifting gear. He ensures the proper
functioning of the production line and makes urgent repairs if necessary.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 Performing maintenance tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical,
hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment;
 Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical problems and solve them;
 Make sure that all tools or equipment work well;
 Be able to read and follow the work order;
 Be able to read and follow electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical plan;
 Ensure the regular preventive inspection;
 Performing some electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical trouble shooting;
 Complete the documentation needed;
 Operated fork lift, platform, crane;
 Follow the health and safety rules and wear all the personal protective equipment;
 Perform other duties required by his supervisor;

QUALIFICATIONS
 Have obtained primary and secondary school diplomas, for a total of thirteen (13) years of
schooling;
 Having obtained a diploma (DEP) in specialized training in electromechanics or its equivalent,
Formation i.e. more than four years of experience in the trade as well as specialized training in
electromechanics, in a school or industrial environment, are usually required to be eligible for
the certificate;
 Continuous training in the job site;

 4 to 5 years experience as required in a similar job;


 Assume the responsibilities related to your job and to the requirements of the company
(mentioned above);
Expertise  Assume the responsibilities related to the detection, prevention and correction of devices;
 Be comfortable and in control with new technologies, optical fiber;
 Have a good speed of execution in the accomplishment of your tasks;
 Being autonomous, proactive and alert are the essential qualities for the position;
