I. INTRODUCTION

A. Lambunao, officially the Municipality of Lambunao is a 1st

class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. Poblacion
Ilawod is a barangay in the municipality of Lambunao, in the
province of Iloilo. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census
was 3,061. This represented 4.16% of the total population of
Lambunao. Poblacion Ilawod is situated at approximately 11.0569,
122.4807, in the island of Panay. Elevation at these coordinates is
estimated at 170.1 meters or 558.1 feet above mean sea level.

 Niel L. Latanafrancia (Punong Barangay)- responsible for implementing all
ordinances, resolutions and laws in the barangay. They are in charge of governance,
financial stability, development provisioning, leading the barangay legislation or
workforce and ensuring peace and order within the community.
 Jimmy L. Cayanan (Brg. Secretary)- responsible for keeping custody of records,
preparing minutes of all meetings, keeping a list of members, and keeping an
updated form of all inhabitants.
 Gloria L. Lelisa (Brgy. Treasurer)- responsible for taking care and securing the money
of the barangay. Keeps the financial record of the barangay.
Barangay Kagawads- as a member of the sangguniang barangay, should also ensure to
provide their constituents with basic services such as peace and order, formulating
measures to eradicate drug addiction, maintain barangay-owned properties and
infrastructures, maintain cleanliness and beautification of the community and to
promote the well being of the youths.

- Helps the senior citizens in the barangay to receive and enjoy the benefits and
privileges due them in their golden years.
 4Ps Organization-Mrs. Ladigohon
 - Parent-leader of all the parents that are member of 4Ps. Helps the 4Ps member
to be active in community activities.

IV. Reaction
Barangay is the simplest unit of Local Government Unit. I am so happy
while doing this output because I discover more about my barangay. Now, I
have ideas of what are the needs and problems of our barangay. Our barangay
has a few numbers of needs and problems. I think these needs and problems
that are stated above are common in most barangays. All of the needs should
be fulfilled, and all of the problems should be solved, for this barangay to be
better.
I learned that Barangay helps society because it creates solutions,
provide security and reveals dedication. The dedication of each member of
barangay officials to the community, they must do their job right. People in the
barangay depend on them and they are the people who are in charge to meet
the barangay’s need. All of the organization above really exist, and they try to
create ways for improvement or enhancement of our barangay. To have a
better community, we should not just depend to our barangay officials, but of
course we should be an active member an avoid things that can ruin the image
of our barangay.
