EPS Electric agitator with Sabre profile blades
T he electric agitator with Sabre pro-
file blades EPS type is used for
many water treatment processes such
as equalization, neutralization, pH
correction, flash-mixing, sludge con-
ditioning, reactive agent mixing and
recycling. The EPS agitator consists of
an electric motor (that, as for the
EPSV type, can be equipped with vari-
able speed drive), a gear box, a
lantern, a shaft and an impeller. On its
top end, the shaft is flanged to the
gear box while the bottom end is pro-
vided with keyed impeller. The special
blade profile allows an optimum mix-
ing and the treatment of specific high
flow rates. The impellers can be posi-
