Wave templates are used to easily managed creation, release and execution of
waves.
● To facilitate the automatic assignment of warehouse requests to wave .
● To consistently assign parameters to the wave that controls the wave
processing like release method, wave type wave category and wave
completion time.

Automatic wave assignment:

To determine wave templates automatically for warehouse request items should use
condition technique. The determination checks which wave template corresponds to
certain data from header, item of warehouse request. The wave template
determination and wave creation are technically executed via PPF action.

To activate the process type for automatic wave creation.

When PPF action is executed ,it checks the condition tables to determine if the
warehouse request items are relevant for wave template. If the wve template is
found then, it assigns the item to an existing wave or create new one depends upon
the timing and release status of the wave.

Wave Processing:

Once wave can be created you can use the wave to further process the warehouse
request items assigned to the wave.you would release the wave to create the WTs
