1. Discuss the specifications of concrete used in the superstructure of Petronas Towers.


Concrete played a major role in the construction; Concrete was made to withstand 20,000
pounds per inch in compressive strength testing by Universal Testing Machine and then
Admixture of silica was added to the concrete mix to achieve the required strength.

2. Explain the process of execution of raft foundation work for Petronas Towers.

project.
Time-cost-quality was accomplished by recruiting various organizations for the two
pinnacles.
Thus, the two organizations will have a solid rivalry for finishing the pinnacle in the assessed
time. This was first time in Malaysia that two organization were employed for a similar task
for superstructure development. This choice assisted them with finishing the venture in
given time i.e., 6 years and real undertaking time was 8 years. Which lead the undertaking
to be more cost full of feeling and have great quality control. The work was accomplished
for 24 hours 7 days every week to accomplish the objective.
