Ability: During the Gaia Phase, move power tokens in your Gaia area to area II of your power cycle instead of area I.
Planetary Institute: During the Gaia phase, when you move power tokens from your Gaia area, you may gain resources
as if you were spending that much power to take free actions.

Lantids
Ability: When you build a mine, you may build a mine on a planet colonized by an opponent. You do not have to pay
terraforming costs. The mine cannot be upgraded. Doesn’t increase types of planets or Gaia planets colonized.
Planetary Institute: Gain 2 knowledge when you build a mine on a planet colonized by another player.

Ability: You place a third starting mine after all other players have placed.
Planetary Institute: You can form federations with a total of 6 power value rather than 7.
Xenos
Ability: Gain ore instead of QIC until indicated Academy is built. Use ore instead of QIC to make Gaia planet habitable.
Gain 2 VP on building mine on Gaia planet.
Gleens
Planetary Institute: Gain Gleen federation token. Counts as building Federation. PI can still be used in a Federation.

Ability: Brainstone counts as 1 power token (For Gaia Project, satellites, etc) but spends as if it were 3 power.
Planetary Institute: Each time you would charge power as a passive action, gain 1 power token.
Taklons
Ambas
Ability: none.
Planetary Institute: Once per round, as an action may swap your Planetary Institute with one of your mines. This has no
impact on existing Federations. The swap doesn’t count as a build or upgrade action. No VP or power gained.

Hadsch Hallas
Ability: none.
Planetary Institute: You can spend credits instead of power to take free actions that allow you to gain resources.

Ivits
Ability: Instead of placing mines, place Planetary Institute instead last. You may only have one federations that is
extended in multiples of 7 to take federation tokens . You pay QIC for satellites, not Power. (See pg 20 for more details)
Planetary Institute: As a special action, place a space station following standard accessibility rules. Counts as 1 power.
Does not count as a structure or a colonized planet. Others players may place satellites on space stations.

Ability: none.

Geodens
Planetary Institute: The first time you build a mine on a new planet type gain 3 knowledge. You don’t gain knowledge
for mines placed before your planetary institute was placed.

Ability: You can’t advance on the navigation research track. As a free action, move an available Gaiaformer to the

space 5 of research tracks still apply.

Gaia area.
