Learning Objective:
Understand and improve written response to Section B
Writing to Argue Practice
You must:
• plan your response
• Structure your response in clear paragraph (5 paragraph)
• relate real like examples
• write minimum 750-1000 words
Write an article for your local newspaper on the
subject of: Can communities ever recover fully
from serious natural disasters? [30 marks]
• Before attempting to write, it is very important to plan what you
want to write.

• Always break down the questions into subheadings or mini questions


and bullet point all your ideas.

• You can also draw a mind map (spider diagram) if you find this easier.
