Danny
When my father became positive for CoVid - 19 and went to a quarantine facility, everything
changed for me. I did not want to go outside already. I kept on asking myself why must it
happen to my family.
I could imagine my friends mocking me in our different group chats and other platforms.
How could they be so cruel! I was so crushed. When I went out, people would never talk to
me. I wanted to tell them that father was recovering and that after the rapid test, none of us
got infected with the virus. I was so lost by then.
I wanted to tell them that, “Hey, why would you treat me this way? You should be able to
understand us and continue wearing mask at all times. You see us with your angry eyes but
does not feel us with your loving heart. Why?”
And I blame myself for not having the courage to do so.
