APRIL 19, 2021

This is the most awaited day of my senior year. From this day on I am entering
a new chapter of my life as a student-teacher. I can’t explain the feeling I have right
now. It’s a mixed feeling of excitement and nervousness. I don’t know what to expect
and what to do. This is not something that I imagine it would be. But still, I am
thankful because I am in the right hand. To start with our internship. We had our
orientation. We talked about ourselves, our expectations, and the things that we
should do as Student Teachers. We are also assigned by pair by Maam Macale. I
was paired with Miss lumber. Aside from the introduction, assigning of blocks and I
was assigned to handled 3rd-year criminology. We are also taught how to create a
link in the Gmail application. It was fun and very easy.

APRIL 20, 2021

On the second day, of our internship, Ma'am Macale gave us our first topic. I
felt butterflies in my stomach because honestly, English is not my forte. So, it is a bit
challenging for me. A lot of negative thoughts, questions crossed my mind. But still, I
keep on telling myself that I can do this and I feel at ease especially that Ma'am
assured us that she will be there to guide us every step of our student teaching. As
the first topic was given I started searching about it and yes all I can say is 'Familiar'
(insert smiley face). I thought to myself that it will be easy. But as I go on searching
my topic, I found different references that made me confused on how will I ever put
them on a Lesson plan. So, all I did was saved all the references to my phone and so
that it will be easy to organize my notes.

APRIL 21, 2021

For today’s activity, I attended the class of mathematics 3 rd-year students.

Ma'am Macale introduced us together with my co-student teachers Ma’am Roma
and Ma’am Jackelyn with a little introduction on why we are attending their class. For
the whole session that I was observing them. These students are really good and I
like how participative they are during the class. Even though we are new to this kind
of set up you can still see the eagerness of the students to learn and to share their
ideas. I also attended the class of C148 BSCrim 3rd year and C168 BSCrim 3rd year

Ma’am Macale, introduced us to the class and give us an introduction to the

students and what will be our role in the coming sessions. I noticed that there are
only a few students who are attending the class. But it was okay and understandable
because
one of the problems that we faced in this online class is the internet connection.
Both classes have the same activity. Some students are participating, while the
others are being shy because they are afraid to talk in English. Since the subject is
English,

everyone is encouraged to speak English. I commended the students because they

tried their best in answering the activity. After the class ended we had our post-
conference with Ma’am Macale. We talked about how we feel during the observation.
What we can say about the class during discussion. She also shared some tips and
insights on how we can manage or handle students. That's how my long day end.

APRIL 22, 2021

Last night, Ma'am Macale gave us her reference to our first topic. Since we
mentioned to her, last time that we are having difficulties in looking for our topic. We
are thankful because ma’am allows us to use her reference. So, this morning I
started making a lesson plan and I did not expect that it will take time to finish it. I
find it hard really in making the lesson plan except in the part of the discussion
because the topic was already given. The most challenging part of making this
lesson plan is the activity and the evaluation part because I have to make sure that
the activity and the evaluation will match my objective. For me to achieve the goal of
this lesson. So, I tried my best to finish the lesson plan for the checking and be
prepared for the suggestions and corrections.

APRIL 23, 2021

After making my lesson plan yesterday. I also started making my power

point presentation. It was not easy to make a Powerpoint presentation since I am not
a techy person and I am not used to this kind of Instructional material. But still, I tried
to make a better and simple presentation. That will help the learners to read and will
not imagine the things that I am going to talk about in front of them. This also takes
time because I have to make sure that every slide is readable and always in line. I
should also highlight the title, the subtitle so that it will be clear to the students and
of course, will be pleasant to the eyes.

APRIL 24, 2021

Today is Saturday Ruby and I decided to meet up. We planned to submit the
hard copy of our lesson plan since it is one of the requirements of our CT. After
printing out our lesson plan we headed immediately to the school. We dropped it off
at the guard who is on duty at that time and have us signed in the logbook. After that,
we left the school since our business was done. I used the time also to visit the
Weebly page for my E-Portfolio. I am not yet familiar with the page so all I could do
was input my name and was trying to study how to navigate the Weebly account.
