On behalf of the editorial board, I am pleased to have this volume number 2 of Rwanda Journal of Arts and Humanities out! With contributions from scholars and lecturers in the field of arts and humanities and philosophy, this volume focuses on papers from areas of philosophy, religion, arts and humanities and language education. Some of the papers derive from recent doctoral studies while others are from current researches carried out by academic staff of the School of Arts and Languages. Whatever may be the area of study and the type of research, these works show a high level of appropriateness to proven theories and techniques. They make a profitable contribution to research which can enable to move forward, open new perspectives and enrich questionings. I would like to express our gratitude to authors who chose to publish with us. Additionally, I wish to acknowledge the reviewers’hardwork and timely feedbacks on submitted manuscripts. RWJAH is internationally peer reviewed which is uploaded on Africa Journals Online (AJOL) and each article published is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) tagged with CrossRef. This is also a golden opportunity for the journal to pay tribute to the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) for the financial support given to scientific research and publication at the University of Rwanda.
