When you use a additional power cord, must remember that the total amp of the devices connected to the

In the face of the cases below, experienced maintenance personnel shall be employed to maintain after power

When the printer cannot be operated normally, or there is a significant change in its performance;

Always turn off the printer through the power switch. However, the power will be cut off when the key is pressed.
Do not unplug the printer plug or the data line before the power is cut off.
Make sure that the print head is always at the initial position and fix it before moving the printer.
Keep the ink tank out of the reach of children, avoid the children drinking or touching the ink tank.
Wash with soap and water if the ink gets on the skin. Immediately rinse with water if the ink gets in the eyes.

Do not shake the ink tank, which may cause ink leakage.
The ink tank should be taken off and thoroughly cleaned and dried after using for a period of time (typically
three months). Keep the ink tank clean when replacing them to ensure the print quality.
Site preparation
Customers have a responsibility to comply with all the installation requirements and implement them during
operation of the printer. Otherwise, the printer may not function properly.
Work area
Work area refers to the area close to T208 printer (hereinafter referred to as the equipment), as shown in the figure
below. It must be emphasized that safety of the operating personnel in this area shall be ensured.

Environmental requirements
The equipment should be kept away from the seams equipment (cloth feederliner) or other radio frequency sources.
The floor should be easy to clean and will not generate dust and static electricity. To help the operators and customers
to determine the resolution of color, decoration with neutral gray and white light (fluorescent) lighting shall be used. The
equipment should be installed in a clean, dust-free environment with the service temperature and relative humidity
within 18 -28 ℃ and 40% -60% respectively and the altitude below 1000m.
Front of the equipment is the printing input edge. It is required that 2.0 m shall be reserved in front of the equipment.
And 1.0 m reserved in rear, left and right of the equipment. In addition, 3m above ground level shall be reserved. Also,
space shall be reserved in front and rear of the equipment for loading and unloading the screens and supplies.
Safety requirements
Fire protection
Ink and solvents must be filled in storage tanks or separate storage rooms exclusively for non-flammable liquid, and

Adequate ventilation is necessary to prevent danger caused by the accumulation of vapors to ensure that the air in

solvent in the ink will evaporate. Note: the specific gravity of the solvent gas is larger than that of the air, so it will

Power of T208 solvent printer: about 3500W, it is suggested to use regulated power supply: install the ground wire
on the common ground sheet iron of the equipment. Then turn to AC 200 with a multimeter, connect one indicator to the
ground wire, and connect another indicator to the zero line of the AC input terminal. The measured value should be less
than 1.

Printer control system consists of three parts, including the motherboard, the cephalic plate and the
control software, which connect to the PC via USB2.0 ports
Chapter V Software
PM (PrinterManager) software is a printer management software, and mainly used for printer parameter setting,
printer head calibration and adjustment, FW upgrading, maintenance, head cleaning and printing, etc.; all operations are
implemented via PM. With LCD embedded operating system, PM only plays a role in background work, data transmission,
and printing.
Choose the patches to be installed first based on the computer's operating system which includes WindowsXP, Win7, etc.
The software icon PrinterManager.exe will appear on the desktop after the successful installation of the control

Connect the PC to the printer first when using the tool to adjust the cleaning parameters, and
then run the software [PrinterManager.exe]. If you cannot run this software, you shall first install the
cleaning debugging patch before run it.

Adjust the ink pad before adjusting the parameters to ensure that the cap aligns with the cap.
Note: If the cap does not match the head nozzle, the head cleaning effect is not good, you need to manually adjust the
position of the cap and head so that they can match exactly.
7.1.7 Wiper part: Four heads are allowed to install here. The first head corresponds to the first column in the
left, each head corresponds to a list of parameters, and has a different wiping head position and spacing of wiping.

Wiper height: The height for wiping the head is the position that the ink pad rises; it is generally 0.

Flush Frequency: Unit for flushing frequency is us/, the larger the flushing frequency, the smaller the amount of ink

Flush Interval: Unit of the interval during one flushing is 0.1 second, For example, the Flushing time = 80, the flush
cycle = 40, the flush interval = 20, the flush frequency = 200
The flush time is 8 seconds, flushing for two sections are carried out, and the time of flushing for each section is 4
seconds, including idle time of 2 seconds and flushing time of 2 seconds, the flushing frequency is 200us. When flushing,
the height of the ink pad is generally 1000 lower than the height of the maintenance station.

Because you can print out four different head detection patterns of VSD mode, which have four different variable points,
so the pattern colors shade. If you find that there is discontinuity and bland on the test strip, it indicates a blockage,
cleaning is required until the ink jet by the jet hole gets the best state, which helps observe the head adjusting the print

As shown above, observe the test pattern printed out with a 50 to 100-fold magnifier. Black is the reference color. The
positional relationship between black and other colors, the positions of the jet holes on the same horizontal line relative
to K and the jet holes in the second row relative to K, and the relative position of the two rows of jet holes of the same
color are listed. Because the color of K is located relatively far away from that of Y, it there is dislocation, it will be the
most obvious, so you should observe K and Y first, when there are three lines for K and Y, they should overlap; when
there are three lines for K and two lines for Y, they should cross-insert with each other.

Note: When you see from the magnifier is opposite to what it is actually be. When there are three horizontal
lines, they should overlap with K; when there are two lines, they should be printed in the middle of K, as shown in the
"Normal" figure, otherwise, the physical position of head shall be adjusted until the printer can print properly.
Sometimes, there are condemned heads, so the two rows of jet holes of the same color are interleaved, which causes
unsatisfactory printing result and that the three lines can overlap with K, but the other hole cannot be printed in the
middle of K. It indicates that there is something wrong with the head. When the machine is two heads, two printed test
strips, head 1 and head 2 are adjusted respectively at the same time.
8.2.3 Angle Check: Advanced Menu Mode ---> Calibration ---> Interleave Chink Inspection ---> 【ENTER】 key
Adjustment of the level of heads cannot guarantee that the plane of the heads is horizontal, which may be high
inside and low outside or low inside and high outside, stat of heads can be seen through 【Angle Check】 menu
Note: The test pattern is printed twice from right to left and twice from left to right. If the wide lines cannot be seen
clearly, please observe the thin lines, both wide and thin lines are vertical lines composed of dots, so the result is obvious.
If the heads are high inside and low outside, it is the middle part that can be seen; while if the heads are high outside and
low inside, it is the third sketch map that can be seen. In individual cases, the printing results in both directions are the
same, then you need to check if the direction is vertical to the rail, or it may be because of uneven platform. Test strip
can be printed in other places to check if the printing results are the same. If there are too many mismatches where two
print directions overlap, it is because the error of bi-directional adjustment. For two-head printer, the adjustment method
is similar. In general, the printing result of head 2 is worse than that of head 1, it is because that it is far away from the
rail. If it is found that the printing result of two head printer is opposite, you need to check the installation of heads or the
base plate for fixing the heads. Sometimes, it is difficult to adjust so that the printing results are the same due to
8.2.4 Head Vertical Interval Check: For one-head printer, the physical adjustment has been finished. However, for
two-head printer, the vertical interval of the two heads shall be further adjusted.

Note: The upper triangle is printed by the first head, while the lower trapezoid is printed by the second head. The
distance from the line printed by the bottommost head of the first head to that printed by the uppermost head of the
second head is the same with the printing interval between the two adjacent jet holes of the head. Briefly, the boundary
printed by the two heads cannot be distinguished regardless of the protruding part of the trapezoid in the right, which
proves that the position is right, no adjustment is required. In general adjustment process, the two heads are basically
horizontal after the interleave chink check and the first steps of adjustment for head tilt, you need to translate the second
head to approach the first one. Translation of the second head may cause left or right tilt, re-check of interleave chink and

Step Calibration
Through this action, only one line will be printed. It is a simple and intuitive adjustment,. It is 4pass step by default,
which is the same with the step adjustment value of 1pass. There is a value under each test pattern, add the value under
the one with the best effect to the default value, enter the resulting value accurate to two decimal places to the machine.
8.3.2 Advanced Mode: Menu --> System --> Advanced Mode --> Enter the Password 0 --> 【 OK 】 key

Step Calibration
Advanced mode provides not only the media type, but also different options for the number of pass. Adjust 4pass
first while operating, the step adjustment value will correspond to other pass numbers, then adjust 3pass, 6pass and
8pass and other common pass numbers with the same medium. Steps of other pass numbers are added or subtracted
Different media correspond to different step adjustment parameters. Be sure to confirm if the medium used not is
the same with the default name of the machine while printing.
Note that in advanced mode, the machine will continuously print 100 cycles, 4pass prints three lines. The first line is
printed by the first and second pass, the second line is printed by the first and third pass, and the third line is printed by
the first and fourth pass, which is a printing process of cumulative errors. The error of the third line is the biggest if there
is any error for the steps. Moreover, because the printing is 100 cycles, the printing time is relatively longer, it is easy to
observe problem existing in the steps through adjustment, the paper feeding accuracy of the machine and periodic
change can be checked out. 6pass prints 5 lines, and 8pass prints 7 lines.
Test pattern prints K and M two colors. If there is no error exists in the physical location of the heads, the step
direction of the two colors should be the same. Observe if the location of the vertical bars in the left is complete and
continuous, if the heads tilt, there will be gaps between the vertical bars in the left, so complete color area cannot be
formed.
Cancel key can be pressed to cancel printing during the printing process; if it is difficult to distinguish if position 0 is
completely aligned, you can observe both left and right sides to see which side is interleaved more obviously, the best
result is close to the other side. You can also test in other places of the medium width to check the mechanical precision.
Note: If the step value of the machine is too different from the actual printing result. You should observe the effect
of the first line, the value may be added or subtracted too much. The maximum amount of change that the machine
allows is 50%. Observe the effect of position 0 of the third line when the position 0 of the first line is aligned for fine

Adjust to position 0 for alignment, observe the test pattern to see which position is aligned better, then add the
corresponding value and the default value, enter the resulting value to the menu. Note that adjustment parameters are
different as the resolution and VSD are different. 4 VSD modes under 360dpi and 4 VSD modes under 720dpi shall be
adjusted separately. If the machine supports both high and low gears of head, then the two gears shall be adjusted
respectively. If the machine does not have this feature, only high gear value shall be adjusted if the menu indicates high,
and only low gear value shall be adjusted if the menu indicates low.

Observe the combination of different colors in each row, add the value at the location where has the best result and
the default value in the menu, and enter the resulting value in the appropriate location in the menu.
In this sketch map, 2 is the relative position of the two rows of holes with the same color, and is the reference for
alignment to adjust the two rows of holes with the same color printing left
1 takes the first row as the benchmark k1, and the benchmarks of all other colors align with the benchmark k1.
If the left row of holes is 1, and the right row of holes is 2, the above figure is K1K2, K1K1, C1C2, C1K1, M1M2, M1K1,
Y1Y2, Y1K1. Note that because one head has four colors, positions of 8 rows of holes are relatively fixed. On the basis of
ensuring the physical location, the values are default ones. Position 0 on the test pattern tested through the menu should
be aligned best. Too large error indicates that the physical adjustment is not ideal. Interleave chink inspection and angle
For a two-head printer, the adjustment principle is the same, but the test patterns shall be printed double. With the
left holes of the first head as the benchmark (H1K1, H1C1, H1M1, H1Y1), other locations of the same color shall be
snapped to this benchmark. Then these benchmarks (H1C1, H1M1, H1Y1) align with the benchmark H1KI, H1 is the head
facing the left of the printer, namely head 1, H2 is the head in the right. In the test pattern, H1K2, H2K2, H1K1, H2K1,
H1C2, H2C2, H1C1, H2C1, H1M2, H2M2, H1M1, H2M1, H1Y2, H2Y2, H1Y1, H2Y1
H1K2 is a combination of H1K1 and H1K2, representing the result printed by the jet holes on the left row and right
H2M2 is a combination of H1MI and H2M2, representing the result printed by the jet hole on the left row of M of the
first head and the jet hole on the right row of M of the second head.

For a two-head printer, H1K1, H1C1, H1M1, H1Y1 are as the benchmarks respectively, other holes of the same
color for the two head align to their benchmarks. In the test pattern, H1K2, H2K2, H1K1, H2K1, H1C2, H2C2, H1C1 ,
H1K2 is the result printed by H1K1 to the left and the one printed by H1K2 to the right, namely the left and righ
H2M2 is the result printed by H1M1 to the left and the one printed by H2M2 to the right, namely the left holes of
the first head M and the right holes of the second head M.
Both left alignment and right alignment define two benchmarks. The first benchmark is the color itself, the second
benchmark is K, which adjust only the chromatography, but also the mutual position of the same color. In particular, the
same color of the two heads improves the quality of the printed pure color area. Since the control itself supports 360 and
720dpi, and 360 and 720dpi have four VDS modes respectively. Each mode includes left alignment, right alignment,
bi-direction, high and low gears, which can all be adjusted. All these should be adjusted one by one to print out the ideal
quality. If you usually pursue the print quality only, (indoor printer, print with water-based ink), VSD1 and VSD2 are
rarely used. VSD1 and VSD2 of 360 and 720dpi may not be adjusted.
In this step, adjustment of the machine has been finished, save the parameters to the computer.
