Home Activity:
This week in lab, we are focusing on cause and effect. The activities this week that focus on cause and effect are: hitting the balloon in gross motor and spray
chalk, with bubbles, outside. The toddlers will be able to use their gross motor skills as they hit the balloon; outside they will have the opportunity to see how spraying
the chalk effects the bubbles, and the pictures they draw.
At home, your child can continue to explore cause and effect with the bubbles provided. They can blow bubbles and focus on how blowing into the hole, causes a
bubble. As your child continues to do cause and effect activities, they will be working on developing their motor skills, as well as understanding the concept of cause and
effect. As your child learns cause and effect, they understand that their actions and behaviors result in certain consequences. This also helps them develop early
communication and cognitive skills.
Safety Note: Watch to make sure your child does not open the bottle of bubbles without supervision. Make sure they do not drink it.
