Basic COVID-19 Countermeasures

• Wear a face mask at all times


• Wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser where available
• Keep two metres' distance from athletes and at least one metre from others, including in
operational spaces
• Avoid physical contact, such as hugging, high-fives, handshakes, etc
• Disinfect your hands when entering each area and room
• Do not share towels, drinks bottles or other equipment
• Disinfect your hands before and after using equipment
• Keep your stay at the venue as short as possible

Official Weigh-in
• Team Official shall bring his/her own stationery.
• Not only Team Official but Athlete must wear a mask for whole Weigh-in process.

Entering Athlete Lounge


• Athlete/Warm-up Pass must be properly attached to the accreditation before
entering the Athlete Lounge.
• At Access Control Point, accreditation (with Athlete/Warm-up Pass) must be carried
and clearly shown to the access control personnel.
• Before entering the Athlete Lounge, hand sanitisation must be carried out.

Athlete Rest Area


• Maximum one (1) Team Official is allowed to enter the Athlete Rest Area.
• Before entering the Athlete Rest Area, hand sanitisation must be carried out.

Entering FOP (Warm-up Area: Check-in)
• Attaching Athlete/Warm-up Pass to the accreditation and wearing a mask must be
made sure.
• Team Officials shall bring his/her own stationery.
• NOCs must strictly respect IWF TCRR regarding number of Team Officials entering
Warm-up Area. (One Athlete: 3 Team Officials, including NOC personnel, masseur,
interpreter etc. If NOC has 2 athletes in combined Group B session, 4 Team
Officials are allowed to enter.).
• At Access Control Point, accreditation (with Athlete/Warm-up Pass) must be carried
and clearly shown to the access control personnel.
• Before entering the Warm-up Area, hand sanitisation must be carried out.

FOP (Chalk operation)


• Each Athlete will receive a package of Chalk (powder type).
• Athlete shall use distributed chalk exclusively at his/her Warm-up Platform.
• On the Competition Stage, there is a Chalk Container for common use. Athletes
may use whichever he/she wants (common/distributed chalk).

FOP (Warm-up Area / Competition Stage)
• Athletes can remove the mask while warming-up and competing.
• Athletes must make sure wearing a mask when they leave the Warm-up Area even
for toilet/bathroom and to sanitise hands when returning to the Warm-up Area.
• Upon the completion of his/her competition, Athletes shall wear a mask.
• Athletes shall refrain from queuing up in front of monitors when not warming up at
his/her platform.

Warm-up Area: At Marshal Table


• Team Official must use his/her own stationery.

Leaving FOP for Mixed Zone


• Athletes shall make sure wearing a mask before entering Mixed Zone.

Training Venue
• NOC’s slots for the Training Schedule must be strictly respected.
• In case TA bus (from/to Olympic Village) arrives earlier than scheduled start time of
the Training Session, NOCs will be requested to wait for entering platform area at
Training Venue Athlete Lounge to secure cleaning and disinfection time.
• Whenever entering the Training Venue Athlete Lounge, hand sanitisation must be
carried out.
• Each Athlete will receive a package of Chalk (powder type).
• Athletes may remove the mask only while training and/or taking snacks.
• After the training session is over and while waiting for TA bus, NOCs are requested
to stay in the TA waiting space so that cleaning and disinfection of equipment can
be carried out smoothly.

For ITOs/NTOs: Official Weigh-in
• TOs shall bring his/her own stationery to Official Weigh-in.
• TOs shall encourage Team Officials to use their own stationery. In case spare
stationery is used, such stationery must be disinfected.
• TOs are requested to disinfect the scale after each athlete’s weighing-in.

For ITOs/NTOs: At ITO/NTO Lounge


• TOs must refrain from talking without wearing a mask – need to be careful while
taking meal and/or drinks.

For ITOs/NTOs: At TO Rest Area


• TOs must make sure not to talk without wearing a mask while taking refreshment.
