2nd District of Valenzuela, Metro Manila with a
zip code of 1440. Its coordinates are
approximately 14.6990° N and 120.9783° E of
Luzon.

The word Maysan came from the word


maisan or cornfield, and has a square hectare of
25. The barangay celebrate their feast of Mahal
na Birhen ng Patron ng Sto. Rosario during May

class highly urbanized city in the National
Capital Region of the Philippines.

Valenzuela is a city in Metro Manila that is


also prone to common calamities such as floods,
earthquakes, and typhoons. Because of this, the
local government took some actions to minimize
the damage and casualties brought by the
catastrophe.

Valenzuela built the ALERT Center (Allied
Local Evacuation and Emergency Response
Teams Center) that works together with other
disaster managements such as VCDRRMO
(Valenzuela City Disaster Risk and Reduction
Management Office), BFP (Bureau of Fire
Protection), and CSWDO (City Social Welfare
and Development Office).

The VCDRRMO is an organization that is


established last 2016 which provides rescue
assistance to Valenzuela residents in times of
calamities.
