SUBJECT : Actionable Items re Police Operation

DATE : October 2, 2020

1. Reference: Verbal Instruction from Acting Chief PIU dated October 2, 2020.

2. This pertains to the series of theft/robbery “basag kotse” incidents in 1 st and 2nd District of
Laguna more particularly in Calamba City. That these rampant basag kotse incidents was
indeed alarming.

3. In this regard, you are directed to conduct in-depth investigation on the said series of
basag kotse incidents that will lead to locate/identify some persons of interest who are
responsible to this series of criminal activity.

4. Further, you are directed to lodge interventions such as intensification of intelligence

monitoring, dragnet operations and patrolling. More particularly, gather all CCTV footages on
such incidents to make a comparisons of the traits, modus operandi and vehicles used by the
suspects, research on the investigation debriefing reports of arrested personalities involved in
robbery/theft activity and record check of detainees in BJMP and PNP custodial facilities.

5. Submit your action taken to this office not later than 12:00NN October 3, 2020.
