furnishing products. The company was set up in 2000, by young
and dynamic Mr. Amar Nath Maurya who has around 15 years of
wide and varied experience in the enriching and famous
handloom textile industry of Varanasi. A Textile Technologist &
Designer by education, he started off as a fabric maker for the
export industry. His brainchild, ‘Umrai’ soon gained recognition
for its diversified range, exclusive designs, high quality products
and attractive price points. In 2003 Umrai started its own
manufacturing of made ups, executed direct exports and handled
valuable assignments for exporters on sub contract basis. Umrai
is a young and growing organization with a motto that ‘sky is the
limit’; it's a one stop shop where tradition meets modernity.

 Our Umrai Fashion Crafts employs the best talent in the
Team industry. With the objective to provide the most
soothing and amazing designs and ideas for your
& home, we have the right mix of experienced resources
as well as fresh minds that bring fresh approach to the
Infrastructure machine. Umrai has 50 Handlooms, 150 Power looms
and 50 Rapiers in-house and 450 more available on a
sub contract basis which are at complete disposal and
work exclusively for the company. Along with a total
capacity of 3, 00,000 meters of fabric per month, the
Infrastructure spreads over 3 units (total area being
approximately 30,000sq.feet) which are used for
cutting, stitching, finishing and packaging operations.
There are 100 stitching machines and 25 embroidery
machines operated by expert manpower.
Umrai constitutes a team of 500 personnel involved in
the various processes, fulfilling different duties under
to keep the cultural heritage at the highest and make
Umrai reach the ultimate customer satisfaction. A team
of design professionals work on the latest trends and
techniques, to come out with the most exclusive
products. A special motto is carried on to amalgamate
the traditional techniques and mingle with heritage to
create a contemporary outlook to suit the taste and
temperaments of the global markets. All our

overall growth and development and strive towards
